BELS+ is participating in the FIG WORKING WEEK 2019.
The BELS+ team has a booth in the exhibition area of the conference promoting the EU GNSS products hosted at the NAVIS Demo Centre in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The first activity will be the Training Day to be held on April 21st as part of the FIG/IAG/UN-GGIM-AP/ICG/VGCR Technical Seminar. The training covers in detail in the study of the concepts and techniques used in the high-accuracy positioning by means of GNSS. The theoretical foundations for Standard and Precise Point Positioning (SPP, PPP) are presented, focusing in the instrumental use of the concepts and techniques of GNSS navigation.
The second activity is expected on Wednesday 24th: the BELS+ Special Session: Galileo – Status and Innovative Solutions for Precise Positioning will take place from 2.00 PM to 3.30 PM in the ESRI Room of the FIG conference. In this special session, officers from European Union bodies will present the Galileo system and its main characteristics, while representatives from EU companies participating in BELS+ will talk about advanced EGNSS solutions.
Finally, on Thursday 25th from 1.00 PM to 4.30 PM, a technical tour will be organised to the University of Science and Technology where the NAVIS Centre and the Galileo Demo Centre will be visited (all the info here).
The 2019 FIG Working Week is an exciting week-long conference that brings the international community of surveying and spatial professionals together to discuss key challenges of our time within the surveying profession with fellow peers. With the theme Geospatial information for a smarter life and environmental resilience the conference will focus on tackling the climate changes by working towards a smarter life both through the development of smart cities and also in rural areas. Spatial information, big data, surveying, BIM, land administration and much more are essential factors in this development.
